I am an avid "You Tuber" and I pay particular attention to view counts and trends on You Tube. As many who use You Tube may notice, there are many videos that get to the "front page" of the top viewed of the day that really seem like they shouldn't be there. For instance you will see an absolutely idiotic video that has no content but perhaps has a website advertised in the video. What is plain to see is that while the video may have been viewed 100,000 times or whatever, it seems to have a very small amount of ratings and comments for the view count. This is how you know a video is getting artificial views. There are many techniques for doing this including setting up multiple computers with programs that open views then change the URL every time they reach the 202 view count which is You Tube's limit per URL. Another technique is advertising companies can be paid to send out mass emails and My Space bulletins to inflate the view count with secret code in the mailing which also adds views from that users URL.
Point is there are many ways to inflate view counts on You Tube. What I am seeing from establishment backed US Presidential Candidates like John Edwards is that they now seem to be super inflating their video views. Despite having less than 5,000 subscribers to his You Tube channel, only 11 hours after uploading this video John Edwards had over 73,000 views. I don't have screen shots but rating and comment count were very low. After it reached the front page the rating count and comments went up dramatically as would be expected. This is the goal of inflating view counts. John Edwards is obviously inflating his view counts dramatically.
The LA Times brought to light the activities of inflating views in the Barack Obama campaign back in August. Since then Barack Obama has given up on inflating his views and most of his new videos have gone down dramatically in view count.
Ron Paul who blows away the field in You Tube subscribers with nearly 35,000 at this time, never employs dirty tactics such as inflating view counts artificially. You can see the his view counts stay consistent. Ron Paul also has the most web traffic of any candidate. His website RonPaul2008.com dwarfs any other candidates website. When the Ron Paul campaign chooses to promote a video using their website, the view count of that video goes much higher. This is an honest way to increase view counts. The key is to look at comment counts, and ratings counts of Ron Paul's videos. This is how you know the view counts are real. They always remain high on Ron Paul videos, where as John Edwards comments and ratings remain much lower.
I hope that everyone will look at the candidates and see who is a truly honest candidate and who employs dirty tactics to inflate their view counts like John Edwards (CFR & Bilderberg attendee 2004).
Looks like as far as honesty goes, Ron Paul is the best choice.

Thank you, that is some useful information.
