Calgary
Calgary is one of the largest cities in Canada whish is also recognized for their winter sports. Actually the very first Olympic winter competition was held in Calgary in 1988. Aside from being known as the most popular venue for winter sports, Calgary is also known for its booming petroleum industry. Winter in Calgary can be very cold, but interestingly Calgary is also one of the sunniest cities.
Calgary is a modernized city and yet managed to keep its tradition and heritage. Whenever you visit Calgary, apart from all the skyscrapers found in the heart of the city you will also find some old establishments like bars or saloons.
